We are looking for a

Process mechanic (m/f/d) plastics / rubber

Also with experience in the field of Film Insert Moulding (FIM)

Your tasks:

• Independent set-up, start-up and optimisation of injection moulding machines and automation technology (Arburg, Engel), as well as the respective peripherals (3-axis handling and 6-axis robots)
• Support with process optimisation as well as sampling and approval of new tools and processes
• Monitoring production for compliance with operational specifications
• Ensuring stable production processes (quality, efficiency, waste minimisation)
• Carrying out quality inspections (e.g. dimensional accuracy, surface quality, process parameters) and documenting the results
• Maintenance and care of machines and peripheral equipment within the scope of responsibility
• Participation in improvement projects (CIP, lean production)
• Training and instruction of machine operators / helpers in your shift

Your profile:

• Completed training as a plastics and rubber technologist with several years of experience
• Technical understanding and experience with automated injection moulding processes
• Knowledge of handling and automation systems
• Knowledge of FIM, IML or IMD processes is an advantage
• High quality awareness, precise working style and team spirit
• Flexibility, organisational talent, team spirit and a sense of responsibility
• Willingness to work in multiple shifts
